Every home has its own energy needs. This is why most of the residential rooftop design systems require to be managed in a modular manner, thus adapting to different needs arising from various roof characteristics and possible future implementations. A meeco green solution addresses these challenges by offering adaptable, efficient, and sustainable solar setups.

sun2roof® efficiency and versatility within a meeco green solution

This is the case of the project developed and built by meeco in Altea, Spain, for a summer residence characterized by a roof with different inclinations, surrounded by shade trees, where standard solutions of PV panel strings were totally unsuitable. meeco, making the best use of the flat roof parts and thus optimizing orientation and inclination, therefore developed and implemented an ad hoc 6.4 kWp sun2roof® system that could ensure maximum energy production and cover the maximum consumption, especially when the air conditioning system is in use.

Green energy for self-consumption

This specific sun2roof® solution consists in 16 top-tier monocrystalline black frame PV modules of 400W, generating annually about 9.34 MWh and saving 2.80 tons of polluting CO₂ emissions.

“My sun2roof® PV plant helps covering my summer consumption,” states the owner. “I’m really very happy for having chosen this meeco green solution. The energy production significantly reduced electricity costs but it also reduces our environmental impact.”
